Car saftey

๐Ÿš˜Children need car seats๐Ÿš˜

I, Sam, believe that children should use car seats. In my persuasive writing you will be reading about car safety.

As a driver, you're responsible if one of your children gets injured or killed in a car crash.  All children under the height of 1m48 must be in a car seat while traveling in a car or a van. If this is not followed there is a chance that you can be pulled over and given a fine.

If your child is too small and they're not in an approved child restraint like a plunket or babywise car seat while traveling in a car they could slip out of the seat belt and then if the car suddenly stopped they might get injured.
The diagonal part of the safety belt must cross the child's shoulder, not the neck because if it is, then the child is too small and should have a car seat. The back of the child seat should be adjusted so that the shoulder belt passes between the base of the child's neck.

Car seats are very important and make sure that you have on for your child.
