Car saftey

๐Ÿš˜Children need car seats๐Ÿš˜

I, Sam, believe that children should use car seats. In my persuasive writing you will be reading about car safety.

As a driver, you're responsible if one of your children gets injured or killed in a car crash.  All children under the height of 1m48 must be in a car seat while traveling in a car or a van. If this is not followed there is a chance that you can be pulled over and given a fine.

If your child is too small and they're not in an approved child restraint like a plunket or babywise car seat while traveling in a car they could slip out of the seat belt and then if the car suddenly stopped they might get injured.
The diagonal part of the safety belt must cross the child's shoulder, not the neck because if it is, then the child is too small and should have a car seat. The back of the child seat should be adjusted so that the shoulder belt passes between the base of the child's neck.

Car seats are very important and make sure that you have on for your child.

Camp Kaitawa!

My favourite part of Camp Kaitawa was the caving.I was scared at the beginning of the  caving but Kelly and Paul made me feel better. The caves had lots of MASSIVE weta and some interesting spiders.

The kayaking was fun, I thought that that jumping off the kayak was more fun then the kayaking. Vaughn and I started a swimming club were we would just swim around the lake.

We did a master chef challenge were we had to make pancakes and meatballs.  Our team scored 13 and a half points.  The people in my group were Gwen, Kalae, James, Ashle and of course me Sam.

On the first day of camp we did some rock hoping, it was cool because when we were rock hoping we had a nice view of Lake Waikaramoana.
For dinner on Monday we had macaroni and cheese which tasted perfect.

This is me in one of the kayaks. ⇨ ⇨ ⇨ ⇨ ⇩
